Question…
What is the best thing to clear acne?
I don’t have full out acne, a lot of people have a lot worse. I have a few here and there and break out every so often. I wash my face twice a day with Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit wash, and moisturize and everything. I really take care of my skin. I want low priced stuff, or at home remedies. Also does toothpaste or Benzoyl Peroxide work?
-I have blackheads. How can you clear those?

+ try a little oatmeal mixed with a little water – it’s a really good cleanser.
I get black heads too which I just squeeze out by using both my thumb nails or use scrub

If it’s acne, or most types of breakouts having to do with oil, moisturizer is exactly what you do NOT need. The best thing is to use a moisture balancing lotion. Acne is actually caused by too much moisture and oil in your skin. Obviously some brands will work better than others, but anything will show some sort of results. Olay has a facial balancing lotion (it works for breakouts in most other areas too) that’s available at walmart.

Apply a facial mask to suck out the gunk form your pores, then exfoliate to reveal new brighter skin and moisturize (besides your daily cleansing do this twice a week). The most important things you can do (besides what I have mentioned above) is don’t pick at pimples or touch your face needlessly, wash your hair at least every 2-3 days (more if its oily – you would be surprised how many people who have acne really only need to wash their hair), wash your pillows and blankets that touch your face, DO NOT sleep with makeup on and wash your makeup brushes every 2 weeks.
