Acne scar remedies:
-Dab fresh lemon juice on your skin to lighten acne scars naturally. Lemon is a natural bleaching agent. Squeeze the juice from a lemon into a cup. Dip a cotton ball in the juice and gently spread it onto your skin. Leave the juice on for 15 minutes.

-Try OTC products that contain retinol or alpha hydroxyl lotions. If you have sensitive skin, be careful using retinol or alpha hydroxyl lotions immediately after a microdermabrasion treatment.

-You can use mineral makeup to cover up your acne scars, and it will also dramatically improve the overall complexion of your skin.

No matter what age you are, acne can be embarrassing–especially when it happens during adult years. You probably figured that the acne would dissipate as you became an adult and that’s why, after puberty, the red marks and bumps can be so embarrassing. Thankfully there are some very good home remedies for acne and we will talk about a few of them in this answer.

Some nutritionists consider fresh wheatgrass juice a super food and drinking it can help clear up acne. This product is available in health food stores, juice bars, and online.

Drinking the fresh juice is best even though you can get it as a supplement. Some have found it best to get a wheatgrass juicer and make it at home. Luckily you can enjoy the benefits from only an ounce a day as this can be expensive. When taking wheatgrass try to avoid junk foods such as sugar because it is a powerful food that cleanses your body. You may want to continue wheatgrass juice for its many health benefits even after your acne has cleared up. You can sometimes cure (or at least lessen) your acne naturally by changing your diet. Certain foods, especially sugar and refined and processed foods can contribute to acne, so try to avoid things like soda, junk foods and bad fats and carbohydrates. Caffeine and alcohol also need to be avoided because they can make your acne worse. While some people think that certain meats and dairy products can contribute to adult acne, they can also help you stay healthy, so instead of cutting them out altogether, try buying and eating only organic versions. Getting more exercise can also help you to clean out your whole system, which is a way to get rid of acne. As you improve your diet and exercise routine make sure that you stay well hydrated by drinking lots of water. When it comes to naturally curing acne, detoxifying your system is a good way to go and drinking lots of water is the best way to do that.

Garlic is a natural remedy for many conditions, including acne. Because of its anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties, garlic is one of the best substances to use when treating acne. You can crush garlic cloves into a pulp using a garlic press or mortar and pestle, and apply the mixture to your face.

Leave it on for no more than five minutes; any longer than that can cause irritation to the skin. If you do this daily, you may very well find your acne soon disappears. Taking a garlic supplement will help this process and will allow the garlic to work on you internally as well.

It’s not impossible to get rid of acne, although it might be difficult. Treatments can take time and many people give up too soon. You will have to try something to see if it will work for you but many people have found success with these treatments.

Astringents work well. Wiping your face down with rubbing alcohol seems to work, too. I have horrible acne, but astringents are helping. Otherwise, there is Accutane, which is prescription only, but it can make you depressed.

Try cocoa butter, the ones that are 100% natural, not only does it moisturize, you skin, it will also help fade the acne scars, till you can barely see it. Apply it on 2-3 times everyday, like when you are watching TV, just rub it on the acne scar, and it will be gone in a few weeks.
